I thought I would point out something very coincidental yet beneficial. This is a multi-part thing so pay attention.

First, the writer’s strike. I agree with what’s going on, these guys deserve some dough for their hard work, even if it means delaying 24 until Spring (and just when they were about to bring back Tony). However, what’s interesting about the strike is that it has put a stop to many shows that are pretty much scripted the day of the show, including one show that is a favorite of mine and many others. That show, my friends, is the Colbert Report.

Now we come to this month in terms of gaming. Unbelievable. Fantastic. Defining. All of these adjectives can easily be used to describe gaming for November, 2007. Unreal Tournament 3, Assassin’s Creed, Super Mario Galaxy, Crysis… it’s amazing. However, one game that could have added a bit of lighthearted fun to this month’s lineup was the game adaptation of “Harvey Birdman: Attourney at Law.” Unfortunately, the game was delayed until January, 2008 to make sure it had some shelf space when released.

Here’s this interesting part. Stephen Colbert, of the on-hiatus Colbert Report, played Phil Ken Sebben on “Harvey Birdman: Attourney at Law” the show. Though Capcom claims the game is “done” they have suddenly been presented with an amazing opportunity thanks to A. the writer’s strike and B. the game’s delay. The coincidental benefit of these two events happening at the same time effectively could allow Stephen Colbert to record Phil Ken Sebben’s lines for the Harvey Birdman game! And no offense to whoever recorded Phil’s lines in the first place, but I think the people would rather have the real Phil Ken Sebben instead of you.

It’s unfortunate that there is so little information about this game. It looks really funny, and GOOD, since it’s from the makers of Phoenix Wright and plays like those games too. If they get Colbert in there, they’ll have quite a gem of a game. Otherwise, subpar, and I don’t think that would excite anyone. HAHAHA aroused.
