The internet in my dorm has been out for… oh, 3 or 4 hours now. Pretty dumb, especially since the IT guys think it’s our computers when really the ENTIRE dorm is without internet. It’s kind of like this:

Server Cat!

Internet will probably be out until maybe 10 or 11 am. But that begs the question then, how am I updating the blog? HMMMMMM?! Is it magic? It could be. Oh could it EVER be. Doesn’t change the fact that there are kittens stealin’ my internets. Which may explains the reappearance of the oh-so awesome Fuzzface, the one month old kitten who lives under the sidewalk at the dorm. He has two brothers but Fuzzface is the most awesome because his face is, well, extra fuzzy. I’ve been trying to get a picture but he likes to slink into the shadows, silly kitty. I’ll try again tomorrow night.

In the meantime, stuck in the lab until I feel like getting my laundry out of the drier. I’m sure I’ll get on that at some point… =/

Has it really been ten years? It feels like it was almost yesterday that I experienced the horror of a hundred zerglings rushing my base. I haven’t had that nightmare in years. Tonight, I really hope I do.

Why, Blizzard? Why must you be so damn good?!

I’m not afraid to admit it. The PSP is cool. The video and sound quality is amazing, and for the tiny library it has, it has some very strong games. So how is it that when I bought a PSP, everyone asked me, “Why?” I don’t blame them. The thing is, it is not a handheld gaming system. It is a gadget that just happens to play games. This seems to be Sony’s approach to the gaming market, which probably explains why there’s currently only one or two killer apps for the PS3, with more on the way (Lair, MGS4, FFXIII, Little Big Planet, etc.). The first game I got for my PSP was Tekken: Dark Ressurection. If you haven’t played this, what are you doing with your life? This game alone is worth getting a PSP for. Shortly afterward I ordered a copy of Mega Man Maverick Hunter X. If you’ve been keeping track of the blog for the last several months, you’ll know how much of a Mega Man X fanatic I am. This may be my favorite Mega Man X game, ever. They made the original Mega Man X better, which I didn’t think was possible. But now I have fallen into the Sony trap. I’ve beaten Tekken and Mega Man X, and now I have… an awesome MP3 player. I need a new game. Vallahala Knights looked decent enough before it turned out to suck, and obviously I’ll be picking up Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core the day that game comes out. But for now, what do I get? I’m not the kind of guy that buys a game for a system that came out more than a year earlier, which leaves out stuff like Lumines and Loco Roco. I want something that’s not going to eat up all my time, but that still has a good amount of game in it. Any suggestions?

I missed 998. I promised I would mark that momentous occassion when it arrived, but dinner at Hardee’s prevented me from doing so. Instead, I am marking the 1,003rd visitor to the blog. Congrats, whoever you were. Good to see some visitors.

Behold the awesomeness:

So people are actually started to get interested in helping make NightRise a reality. This is a major relief, especially since these two guys are really good at what they do. I have high hopes if they stay on. Won’t announce any names just yet, gotta see if they’re really interested first, but stay tuned anyway. Good things are a’comin’.
