This seriously gives new definition to the term “exoskeleton.” I am getting rid of this laptop this summer. It has been nothing but trouble. The NEW ATI card has started overheating, although, luckily, only when I do anything having to do with Unreal. Which, of course, means I can’t finish my project at home, but it means I can at least do other things. But right now it’s got an external keyboard (Enter key died), external sound card (left sound channel died), external hard drive (onboard one too small)… honestly, I’m amazed I don’t have an external DVD burner. But with all the equipment I DO have I can build a fairly kickass computer for only a few hundred bucks. Quite a bargain if you ask me, considering I dropped $2000 on this laptop. It’s quite an annoyance, but so is the fact that it overheats and there’s nothing I can do about it. Water-cooled desktop here I come!
