I tend to do that a lot. Especially when I’ve gotten little sleep, eaten little food, and am about to have showered three times in one day. I don’t know why. I just feel very unclean lately.
So the whole dorm is doing this “Zombie Walk” on Saturday. As far as I know I am one of two - maybe three, at most - zombie hunters. Everyone else is a zombie. That’s how it should be. Have you PLAYED “Dead Rising?” Or SEEN “Dawn of the Dead?” Or any other zombie movie/game in existence? The resistance is always only a handful of people badass enough to take on hordes of undead. So I went down to River Street and bought myself a toy shotgun which I proceeded to paint black with the acrylic paint I happened to buy earlier today. It took about half an hour to dry and now I’ve got a fairly badass looking shotgun. Just need to fill in some spots I missed with the paint. It happens. Hopefully it won’t be too cold on Saturday, but I hear it’s dropping into the thirties. Thirty degrees in October… in Savannah, GA. That is unheard of. It didn’t get into thirties until November last year. The whole “wearing socks” thing just isn’t doing it for me.
I’ve realized lately that my workload has built up so much that I have been unable to get any work done on NightRise. The team building is not going well because people here would rather do their own thing than someone else’s. Understandable. But I’ve been the only person in my game design classes who wants to start his own company, so you’d think they’d just get a head start on their future. Know what I mean? So once again I’m back to developing it myself. Maybe I’ll find a partner for it. I have no clue. There’s one person I should talk to about it. I’ll let you know how it goes…
So today my friend Adam was talking about “The Feast of Three Beasts” which is a custom sandwich you order at Wendy’s. The order process is very precise, and I will not disclose what this sandwich is, per se, but let’s just say there is a LOT of meat and it took me easily forty minutes to finish. The other guys took about half an hour and 35 minutes respectfully. Good. Lord. This thing will make you feel sick. And not even in a “I just had too much chinese food” kind of way, but in a, “I am going to crap lava!!!” kind of way (oh, and according to Josh, lava is still magma until it is crapped out). Here’s a photo of (from left to right) me, Josh, and the manburgers. These things are rediculous. I highly recommend avoiding them, but if you’re feeling suicidal, go ahead and give them a shot.

Hope I didn’t get you all too worried with that last post.
I wish I had more to post about but life is pretty slow and so is development. I haven’t gotten any further in Source but I managed to get rid of all the bugs in the map… for now. Still clueless about the skybox but, eh, whaddaya gonna do? Kay back to whatever else it is I’m planning on doing. Peace for now. War for later.
